It’s a Wrap! Blue Valley Schools Wrap Up for 2025 (Part Two)

By Charles Dahm, Blue Valley Schools Regional Chair for Father’s Club

The Blue Valley Father’s Clubs are pleased to congratulate our students, teachers, and families on a great 2024-25 school year. The second semester is always packed with activities and fun, especially for families with a graduating senior.

The BV Schools Father’s Club showed up to support dozens of activities this spring and are proud to share some photos and some brief details about the events. In Part One we shared the achievements of BV North, BV West, and BV Southwest. In Part Two, we feature BV Northwest, BV High, BV Middle, and Stanley Elementary.

Blue Valley Northwest

Blue Valley Northwest is growing under the steady leadership of Johhny Johnson. He and his crew assisted with Future Husky Night to welcome and celebrate incoming students and drive FC enrollment.  They also served hot chocolate on a chilly day along with their Parent Booster Club. They will be building over the summer and look forward to some fundraisers this fall.

Blue Valley High

Blue Valley High supported spring baseball again this year with tailgates and grilling. They also had an impressive turnout of students (200 or so!) for a “Senior Sunset.” The students arrived wearing T-shirts to celebrate their future plans upon graduation. The chapter provided food (including frozen custard) and outdoor games. Thanks, gentlemen, for providing these students with some great memories.

BV Middle

A couple of up-and-coming chapters made their debut this year. After meeting with Principal Salsgiver this spring to discuss Father’s Club and our mission, BV Middle will become the 2nd BV Middle School and 7th Chapter to launch in Blue Valley.  They’ll officially start next fall, but when some gravel needed to be moved around at BV Middle…. who better to call than Chris Caton, Lance Thomas, and some dads with rakes! Nice work gentlemen.

Stanley Elementary

Stanley Elementary will soon join as the FIRST elementary school with a Father’s Club Chapter. Jason Dolezal has already gotten his eager dads together for fun and function. Including social dinners and tailgating at a BV High baseball game. They also learned that axe throwing is a great way for dads to get to know one another. Lastly, they held a raffle for an opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a BV High baseball game – the student (Ada) threw SMOKE! They hinted that this experience might roll into the fall with a chance for a future Tiger to participate in a football coin toss.

The BV Schools Father’s Clubs are committed to the mission of being intentional with kids, dads, and within their communities. They continued to demonstrate the Father’s Club values this spring with their Others First and Work Together attitudes. Thanks gentlemen – have a great summer everyone!
