Giving Tuesday and Year-End Gifts

Giving Tuesday and Year-End GiftsBy Mike Davisson, Executive Director for Father’s Club

Dads, as we enter the holiday season and wrap up this 2025 calendar year, I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU!!

Thank you for showing up for early morning Fist Bumps. Thank you for running concessions, doing 50/50 raffles, selling pickles on a stick and cotton candy. Thank you for grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, handing out fruit snacks, donuts, chicken biscuits and just being present. Thank you for spending time together with the early morning coffees, the Happy Hours and the poker events and more. Thank you for putting others first with humility and love and being men of action for your KIDS, for other DADS, and for our COMMUNITY.

Thank you for simply showing up when many others do not.

As we’ve grown from the initial Blue Valley High School chapter launched in 2018 to the now 40+ active chapters throughout KC metro that we have currently, and our exponential growth to greater than 50 chapters and expanding outside of the KC metro area next year, there is always a financial need beyond our current revenue streams and fundraising efforts.

As you know, we do not require dues to be part of Father’s Club, but we do ask for financial support if you are able to do so.

There are lots of ways that you can support Father’s Club financially. Below are a few ways you can help Father’s Club to continue building communities of DADS that work together with integrity, courage, and purpose to have a bigger impact on current and future generations.

Anytime Donations Donate – Father’s Club. Donations can be made to our General Fund or to your specific schools fund by scrolling down and selecting your school specific hyperlink.

Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) – Donate to The Father’s Club, Inc. :: Powered by Aplos. Donate to Father’s Club General Fund to support administrative and chapter growth initiatives.

Corporate Matching Programs – Select Father’s Club (EIN: 83-1803673) as your Charity for matching gifts or charitable giving. You may also be eligible to designate charitable funds for charitable hours worked. Check with HR or your benefits team.

Appreciate Stock & Donor Advised Funds – See your Financial Advisor or Tax Consultant about ways to give both now and, in the future, while avoiding capital gains taxes and supporting a local 501c3 charity.

All donations given to Father’s Club via our EIN will automatically default to the General Fund. However, if you would like those funds assigned to a specific chapter, please reach out to Mike Davisson, mdavisson@fathersclub.org or Dan Holdhusen, bookkepper@fathersclub.org so that we can properly apply the funds.

I want to say THANK YOU again for being part of this incredible journey with us. You’re not just supporting a nonprofit, you’re leading with courage, striving for excellence, and helping shape a stronger, more connected community!
