Welcome to the Father’s Club Board: Meet Brent Taylor

By Mike Davisson, Executive Director for Father’s Club

Welcome to the Father's Club Board: Meet Brent TaylorWe’re excited to welcome Brent Taylor to the Father’s Club Board of Directors!

Brent brings a heart for serving families, a passion for mentoring young people, and a wealth of professional experience that will strengthen our mission.

History and Family

Originally from Alliance, Nebraska, Brent attended the University of Nebraska, where he earned degrees in Accounting and Finance. After graduation, he joined Ernst & Young, a career opportunity that brought him to the Kansas City area—a place he and his family are now proud to call home.

Brent and his wife, Jamie, have two children: Connor, an 8th grader, and Morgan, who is in 4th grade. Professionally, Brent is the owner of KC CFO Services, where he provides fractional CFO services to growing companies throughout the Kansas City area. The Taylor family attends Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, where their faith continues to play an important role in their lives.

Investing in the Next Generation

For Brent, investing in the next generation has always been more than just a hobby, it’s a calling. What began as coaching Connor’s T-ball team has grown into years of coaching baseball, football, and basketball for his son, while now coaching basketball and softball for Morgan. Through those experiences, Brent has found that coaching is about much more than wins and losses. It’s about building relationships with kids, encouraging their growth, and creating meaningful connections with fellow parents and families.

As Connor begins participating in school and club sports, Brent recognized a new opportunity to continue making a difference in the lives of families throughout our community. That’s what led him to Father’s Club.

“I’ve always viewed coaching and building relationships with kids and parents as part of serving our community,” Brent shares. “As this chapter of coaching begins to change, I’ve been looking for another way to continue having a positive impact. Father’s Club feels like a natural fit.

Brent is eager to bring his energy, leadership, and servant’s heart to the Board as we continue building stronger fathers, stronger families, and a stronger community.

Please join us in giving Brent a warm Father’s Club welcome. We’re grateful for his willingness to serve and look forward to the impact he’ll make as part of our Board.
