It’s a Wrap! Blue Valley Schools Wrap Up for 2025 (Part One)

By Charles Dahm, Blue Valley Schools Regional Chair for Father’s Club

The Blue Valley Schools Father’s Clubs are pleased to congratulate our students, teachers, and families on a great 2024-25 school year. The second semester is always packed with activities and fun – especially for families with a graduating senior.

The BV Schools Father’s Club showed up to support dozens of activities this spring and are proud to share some photos and details about the events. We’ll celebrate their achievements in a Two Part series. In Part One we’ll share the accomplishments of BV North, BV West, and BV Southwest. Part two will feature BV Northwest, BV High, BV Middle and Stanley Elementary.

Blue Valley North

Blue Valley North had a busy spring and supported the school and students in several ways including AVID Career Day where dads shared career experiences to help prepare students for college and career readiness. They supported much more — Fist Bumps for Food (FBF), a senior picnic, and grilling at the annual staff appreciation luncheon. They also ran a casino night at Project Graduation at Chicken N Pickle. Of course, their pickle and cotton candy fundraisers will be back this fall bigger than ever.

Blue Valley West

It’s no surprise that the Blue Valley West Chapter brought their passionate support to students and teachers again this spring. They pitched in all around the school: grilling at BVW Staff Family Fun Night, Jaguar Grilling, Teacher Appreciation Week giveaways, Senior Sunset, FBF, and a new category FBFMHB (Fist Bumps For Mental Health Bracelets). Combined with their Scholarship announcements at Class Day, these guys earned a few weeks off before preparing for next year.

Blue Valley Southwest

The fathers from Blue Valley Southwest could be found behind the grill at several events as well as giving some fist bumps on an especially chilly morning this Spring – these dads put on their winter coats and turned out to wish everyone a great day! Southwest was also recognized by Superintendent Merrigan for being a Blue Valley Friend of Education.
