Maranatha Christian Academy: Father’s Club Supports Faculty with Crosswalk Duties
By Larry Dollar, Chapter Chair at Maranatha Christian Academy for Father’s Club
This semester at Maranatha Christian Academy, Father’s Club made a meaningful contribution by volunteering to cover morning crossing guard duties every Tuesday and Thursday. Their efforts allowed teachers and staff members to participate fully in faculty devotions, which are vital for fostering spiritual growth and unity among the school’s educators.
As students arrived safely under the watchful care of Father’s Club volunteers, faculty were able to gather in a supportive environment for prayer, reflection, and encouragement. By stepping up to serve in this way, Father’s Club not only promoted student safety during drop-off but also created valuable space for faculty to connect with one another and with their faith.
This initiative highlights the school community’s shared commitment to nurturing faith, building strong relationships, and supporting each other in meaningful ways. The partnership between families and staff, exemplified by this act of service, reinforces Maranatha’s collaborative spirit and dedication to spiritual and communal growth.
