Honoring Our Outgoing Board Members and Bookkeeper: Thank You, Brad, David, Kevin & Dan
By Mike Davisson, Executive Director for Father’s Club
Every strong community is built on the shoulders of people who show up, lean in, and give more than what’s asked of them. Today, Father’s Club proudly recognizes three such leaders whose service has shaped our mission, strengthened our reach, and inspired countless dads across our schools and neighborhoods.
Brad Holdhusen – Founder & President
Brad Holdhusen didn’t just help build Father’s Club, he imagined it. He and Vince Stephens saw a need for connection, purpose, and presence among fathers, and he turned that vision into a movement. As Founder and President, Brad poured his energy, creativity, and heart into establishing the foundation we stand on today.
His leadership has guided Father’s Club from an idea to a back deck meeting to a thriving, multi‑school community of dads committed to showing up for KIDS, other DADS and the greater COMMUNITY. Brad’s legacy is woven into every event, every partnership, and every moment where a kid feels seen, valued, and empowered.
We are thrilled to share that Brad will continue to support Father’s Club as a member of our newly formed Advisory Board, where his vision and wisdom will continue to shape our future.
David Stickland – Board Member
Behind every successful organization is someone who ensures the details are sound, the structure is strong, and the mission is supported with clarity and care. For Father’s Club, David Strickland took the baton from Jeff Johnson and continued to ensure this remained a priority and brought additional insight, structure and processes to our growing organization.
We are grateful to announce that David will also be joining the Advisory Board, where his experience and insight will continue to guide Father’s Club into its next chapter.
Kevin Easterday – Former Treasurer
Kevin Easterday has been a driving force behind Father’s Club’s growth and impact. His dedication, encouragement, and willingness to step in wherever needed have made him an invaluable part of our leadership team.
As Treasurer, Kevin brought stability, steady leadership, thoughtful stewardship, and a deep commitment to helping Father’s Club grow responsibly and sustainably. His work strengthened our operations, expanded our capabilities, and ensured we could serve more dads and more schools with confidence and fiscal responsibility.
His contributions have left a lasting mark, and we are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and heart he has invested.
Dan Holdhusen – Bookkeeper
Every mission-driven organization needs someone who keeps the financial engine running smoothly behind the scenes. For Father’s Club, that steady hand has been Dan Holdhusen.
As Bookkeeper, Dan ensured accuracy, transparency, and reliability in our financial processes. His work allowed Father’s Club to grow with confidence, support new initiatives, and maintain the trust of our community and partners. Dan’s commitment and attention to detail have been essential to our stability and success. His time and efforts extended far beyond his role as Bookkeeper and played a pivotal role in our ability to continue to grow the organization and maintain a high level of excellence in everything we do.
Dan is now stepping away from his role, and we are grateful for everything he has contributed. We are also excited to welcome Eric Brewer, who will be taking over bookkeeping responsibilities and helping carry this important work forward.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
Brad, David, and Kevin have each played a vital role in building Father’s Club into what it is today. Father’s Club is stronger because of these men. Their legacy continues in every dad who shows up, every student who feels supported, and every community that grows a little closer because of our mission.
Please join us in thanking Brad, David, Kevin and Dan for their extraordinary service—and in celebrating the bright future ahead.
