Father’s Club Awards 12 Scholarships Totaling $12,818 to Graduating Seniors

Father’s Club is proud to announce the awarding of 12 scholarships totaling $12,818 to graduating seniors for this 2025 graduating class. These scholarships are more than just financial assistance—they’re a celebration of the perseverance and determination that these students have shown throughout their high school journey.

This year, we received nearly 60 scholarship applications, each one representing a powerful story of grit, growth, and resilience. Choosing just 12 recipients was no easy task, but those selected demonstrated an exceptional ability to persevere through adversity, stay committed to their goals, and continue moving forward in the face of life’s challenges.

Chris Caton was quoted as saying, “Reading one essay genuinely moved me.  It wasn’t just words on the page, it was the story of growth, resilience and heart.  Seeing how this student evolved from freshman year to senior year truly embodied everything I love about Blue Valley High School.  Their journey is exactly what we hope for in every student: a commitment to growth, a passion for learning, and a spirit that uplifts the community.”

These scholarships are not just about grades or accolades but are meant to honor students who refuse to give up. They kept showing up, kept trying, and kept pushing forward. That’s the kind of strength we want to recognize and support.

We personally want to take a moment to thank all those that donated their time and their finances to Father’s Club and the local chapters for the funds that allowed us to recognize these individuals through the scholarships awarded.  We may never know the true impact these scholarships and the recognition had on each of these individuals, but I do know the impact it has had on those reviewing the submitted stories and our continued desire to be intentionally engaged and present in the lives of these students.

To the Class of 2025 scholarship recipients: We See You – we see your effort, we admire your perseverance, and we believe in your future. Congratulations—you’ve earned this.
